Agra News : Tourists visiting the Taj Mahal in Agra drenched in colors and played Holi. On World Women’s Day, entry was made free at all the protected monuments including Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri. While the number of foreign tourists was more in the morning on Holi, Indian tourists arrived in large numbers in the afternoon. Municipal employees made Rangoli at the eastern gate of Taj Mahal. Guides, shopkeepers and regional people drenched the tourists in colours.
People who came to their homes on Holi will return on Sunday, in such a situation huge crowd is expected to gather at Taj Mahal on Saturday and Sunday. Due to the closure of Taj Mahal on Friday, there may be crowd at Mehtab Bagh and Agra Fort, due to which tourists will throng Taj Mahal on Saturday. Tourists leaving from Lucknow and Yamuna Expressway can also visit Taj.
