
Agra News : The civil work of the three elevated sections of the Agra Metro train was completed on Monday. The last girder was placed on the pillar in the afternoon. Now the work of installing tracks and signals on it is going on fast.
Project Director of Uttar Pradesh Metro Train Corporation, Arvind Kumar Rai said that in the first phase, the metro train has to be operated on the six km route. For this, the civil work of Taj East, Basai and Fatehabad Road elevated stations has been completed. In this, 684 piles, 171 pilecaps and 171 pier pillars have been installed. A U-girder weighing 160 tonnes and 28 meters long has been installed on Monday.
Now railway track, traction for signal and energy, tele communication and other works are also being done at a fast pace. The construction of the remaining 2.8 km route by this route will also be completed soon. After this, Metro operations will be started from Taj East to Jama Masjid in December.
