Agra News : Diwakar Mahasabha Agra took out a procession on the occasion of 147th birth anniversary of Sant Gadge Maharaj. The auspicious journey started from the temple of Nagarsen Baba situated on the bank of Yamuna and bypassed Belanganj Dhulia Ganj Ghatiya, Hari Parvat, Diwani and ended at the garden of Diwakar Samaj located in Khandari. During this, the procession was welcomed at various places. Earlier, the Chief Guest, former Chief Engineer, Ministry of Defense Ram Khiladi Verma flagged off the procession after garlanding and performing aarti on the picture of Sant Gadge.
On this occasion, President Sanju Diwakar told that more than two dozen tableaux were included in the Shobha Yatra. In this, tableaus of Beti Bachao and Beti Padhao, environmental protection, women’s safety, polythene-free India were involved in the procession. Convener Amit Diwakar, Councilor Advocate said that we all have to give up the evils and addictions prevailing in the society. On this occasion, program president Sheetal Prasad, Bhagwandas Diwakar, Ranveer Diwakar, Shivdayal Diwakar, Gajendra Diwakar, Jhamman Lal Bharti, Pramod Diwakar, Netaji Ramjilal Diwakar, Rohit Diwakar, Lakshya Diwakar, Dharmendra Diwakar, Mukesh Diwakar, Jagdish Fauji Uttam Diwakar, Netaji Gorelal Diwakar, Raju Diwakar, Binder Diwakar, Vijay Diwakar, Vinod Diwakar, Pradeep Satsangi, Lalit Chaudhary, Kalyan Singh, District President Yogesh Diwakar etc. were present.
