
Agra News : The first action of confiscation of property under the Gangster Act in Agra Commissionerate took place on Thursday. The property worth Rs 3.30 crore of gangster Pappu Kushwaha, accused in the case of making and selling fake chhena powder, was attached. This includes houses and plots in Malpura along with shops and godowns in the name of Bhagwati Traders at Daresi and Peepal Mandi. Apart from this, three accounts and five vehicles were also seized.
DCP City Vikas Kumar said that a case was registered against Pappu Kushwaha, a resident of Vipati Nagar, Dhanauli, Malpura, under the Gangster Act at the police station Chhatta. Action was taken under Section 14 (1) of the Gangster Act. The ill-gotten wealth has been attached in the names of Pappu Kushwaha, his wife Sushil Devi, son Arvind Kushwaha and daughter-in-law Manu Kushwaha.
A case was registered against Pappu Kushwaha for making and selling fake chhena powder. By this work only, he made illegal property worth crores. Apart from this, two more cases were registered against the accused. His assets worth Rs 3.30 crore were attached. This includes land, shop, three accounts, five vehicles.
