Agra News : Taj Mahal Will Be Closed For Two Hours On January 11

Agra News : Dr. Mohammed Irfan Ali, President of the Republic of Guyana, will reach Agra on Wednesday. He is coming here to see the Taj Mahal. The memorial will be completely emptied before his arrival. Due to this Taj Mahal will be closed for tourists for 2 hours.

The Taj Mahal will remain closed for general tourists for two hours from 4.15 pm to 6.30 pm. The ticket counters of the Taj Mahal will be closed two hours in advance, as Dr. Mohammed Irfan Ali, President of the Republic of Guyana, is coming to visit the Taj Mahal after 4 pm. The sale of tickets at the Taj Mahal will be stopped after 2.15 pm.

Superintending Archaeologist of the Archaeological Survey of India, Dr. Rajkumar Patel said that the monument will remain closed for two hours due to the visit of the President of the Republic of Guyana to the Taj Mahal. In view of the VIP visit, tour operators have changed their itineraries. Instead of showing Taj Mahal in the evening, he will first take tourists to Taj Mahal in the morning and then Agra Fort or Fatehpur Sikri in the afternoon.

The timings for visiting the Taj Mahal in the evening have been changed to morning and afternoon. However, the biggest problem in this is the weather. The fog is dissipating only after 11 am. The Taj Mahal is not visible in the morning due to the fog. In such a situation, tourists will get a chance to see the Taj Mahal only between 12 noon and 2 pm.
