Agra News : Two junior doctors have been suspended for 15-15 days on Friday in the orthopedics department of SN Medical College, Agra. On Wednesday, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak took cognizance of the dispute over the postponement of the operation and the allegation of assault on the Timardars. After this the college administration has taken this action. Along with this, the patient has been called for re-operation.
On Monday, Deori Road resident Vishant (22 years) was admitted for leg operation in the orthopedics department of SN Medical College. The junior doctors asked the family members to deposit Rs 12,000 for the implant. He deposited Rs.6000. The operation was to be held on Wednesday, but it was postponed. There was a dispute regarding this. The patient’s mother Anita and sister Deepanshi accused the junior doctors of indecency and assault. The family members took the patient home with them. In the matter, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak directed the SN administration to investigate and take action. After this the patient’s mother and sister were called.
